The Works of Acclaimed Writer Kirk Wood Bromley
Faust, the Musical
By Kirk Wood Bromley

Faust is a full-length musical that follows the story of that classic angst-ridden artist, Dr. Faust. Bromley tells the entire Goethe story through rock, blues, gospel, funk, and rap music, all interspersed by verse dialogue, giving the piece an entirely new feel for an American musical. All the classic scenes are represented in catchy, unique, memorable lyrics and music: Faust's dilemma with existence, his bargain with Mephistopheles, his irritation with Wagner, his love for Margarete, his journey through stripbars, cemeteries, and Walpurgisnacht, culminating in his journey to judgment.
